Good enough stay, but nothing to get excited about
Convenient location for just about anything. Recently refurbished, so the room carpets and lobby were in tiptop shape. Staff were all nice, except the one who checked me in. She needs a slight attitude adjustment.
For "ecology reasons" the hotel only cleans the guest rooms every three days. Fine in itself and they hang a towel set outside your door each day, but no indication of how to deal with used towels or garbage. My room never got cleaned once, even though I stayed four nights. The outsides of the lobby windows drip (and I mean drip) with condensation on rainy, humid days. Never seen that before. Pretty bad look and pretty bad considering the hotel owner is a housing manufacturer and should know how to make a building with proper ventilation.

What was the highlight of Daiwa Roynet Hotel Tsukuba
a very wonderfull place to stay in Tsukuba Japan
the location is just perfect, nearby a big shopping area, beautiful garden, bus and train station, also near the campuss wear my daughter is studying making it such a perfect place to stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they hired some staff who spoke English well and really help us communicate, but the staffs who are not speaking English fluently are always try to explain and communicate smartly with guest, I love their effort to keep assisting and trying to do their best to make guest feel all their needs been taken cared for, very professional and diligent staffs. The breakfast is also wonderfull, they provide japanese style breakfast and some western too, but my family love their japanese breakfast most and their coffee, which is very good. The coffee is also provided at the ammenities stall nearby the reception area for guest to pick for free :). We were stayed more than 12 days in Daiwa Roynett and satisfied for the choice we've made. We definitely will return when we visit Tsukuba again.
